Description
Defrosting Guidelines:
Ensure the Turducken is fully defrosted before cooking. Ideally, unbox and let it thaw in the fridge for 48-72 hours.
If you're pressed for time, a cold water bath can expedite the process. Ensure the Turducken and its packaging are inside a large bag to prevent any water ingress, preserving the seasoning. This method requires 8-10 hours.
Culinary Directions:
- Set the oven to preheat at 350°F.
- Unwrap the Turducken.
- Position the defrosted Turducken, breast side up, on a greased rack within a roasting pan.
- Shield the wings and legs with foil as they tend to cook quicker.
- Loosely drape the entire bird with aluminum foil, ensuring it's not tucked in.
- Cook under the foil for 2 hours, then without the foil for another 90 minutes, ensuring the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- If you wish, baste the Turducken with butter in the final cooking hour.
- Once cooked, let it rest for about 45 minutes before carving.
Carving Instructions:
For an enhanced taste experience, let the Turducken sit for an additional 20-30 minutes post-cooking. This helps in retaining the juices. Remove any strings or netting. If there's netting, ensure it's separated from the skin before cutting. Start by removing the wings and legs. Then, slice the main body from one wing to the other, followed by a central cut. Aim for slices that are ½” to ¾” thick.
Often referred to as 'tur duck en', our Turducken isn't just another product. It's a culinary masterpiece. Experience the finest Turducken available for purchase.

All authentic Louisiana meats and specialties from CajunFood.com are prepared according to generational bayou recipes. Here are our smokehouse pitmaster guidelines for best flavor:
Submerge links in barely simmering water (do not boil hard or casings will burst) for 10–12 minutes until heated through (internal temp 160°F).
Preheat to 375°F. Lightly brush casings with butter or oil. Cook for 10–14 minutes, turning halfway through until the skin is delightfully crispy.
Place over indirect, medium-low heat on pecan or hickory coals. Turn frequently for 8–10 minutes until casings are taut and lightly charred.
Thaw overnight in the refrigerator. Transfer to a heavy Dutch oven or saucepan over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally until hot and bubbling.

Customer Reviews for Premium Turducken with Creole Pork Stuffing 14 lbs
Tastes exactly like Saturday mornings in Lafayette!
Living in Colorado, finding real Louisiana boudin and smoked meats is impossible. CajunFood shipped this packed hard in dry ice. Steamed it in a pot for 12 minutes and the rice/pork balance and cayenne spice level were perfection.
Arrived rock solid, unmatched flavor
Was skeptical about ordering frozen food in the summer heat, but the cooler had plenty of dry ice remaining. Air fried at 375°F for 12 mins and had the crispiest, juiciest sausage links ever.
100% Authentic Bayou Quality
My family is from St. Martinville. This is the real deal—no fillers, authentic seasonings, and great smoke flavor. CajunFood is my go-to online store now.
